The Rotary Club of Enfield Chase

The Rotary Club of Enfield Chase was formed in 2004 . The main activities are common to all Rotary Clubs but ours are organised along the following themes:-

Community Service

We support many local causes including

The Nightingale Community Hospice Trust, Richard House , BEVAD, Enfield Vision Etc.

In addition to helping these and many other local endeavours, we organise our own events such as an outing for the Elderly and “KIDS OUT” an annual day trip to a local park for children with special needs.  Rotary Clubs are working to set up a network of Community First Responders to help heart attack victims.

International Service

One of the benefits of being part of a worldwide organisation is that we can really help to make a difference without just writing cheques.

There are Rotary Sponsored Schemes operating in many parts of the world to alleviate poverty and sickness.

We have recently contributed Mosquito Nets to Tanzania as part of a major disease eradication effort. We also supplied disaster relief Water Filtration equipment following the Tsunami disaster in SE Asia.  This year, Rotary’s Africa Hope will help 5,000 children in Rwanda and South Africa orphaned by AIDS or genocide.

We meet weekly on Thursdays at  07:30 at  the Baptist Church Lounge, Cecil Road, Enfield.  (private free car park)

The meeting includes breakfast and provides an opportunity to discuss Club activities, hear a speaker or just have a bit of fun.
