"The Stroke Association and Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland
are working in partnership for the third year to provide free blood pressure
measurements to members of the public on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 April
2005. " The first plan was to have a Gazebo in the car park but the General Manger generously invited us to use part of the entrance lobby - warm, out of the wind and busy. It made all the difference! The four volunteer nurses tested the blood pressure of nearly 250 people and were able to recommend that a number make appointments to see their GP.
